Return & Refund Policy

Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery by contacting jack@madcapper.shop

To be eligible for a return:

  • items must be returned in original condition
  • items must be free of damage caused by the customer

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Return labels are not provided by our shop unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect due to our error.

Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Because our hats are custom embroidered to order, certain customized or personalized items may not be eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.

If you have a question about whether your item qualifies for a return, please contact us before sending it back.

Minor embroidery variations, thread differences, and slight placement variations are considered normal characteristics of custom embroidery and are not considered defects.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.

Email us at jack@madcapper.shop with:

  • your order number
  • photos of the item
  • photos of the packaging if applicable

If the issue was caused by our error, we will provide a replacement, return label, or refund at no additional cost.

Please include:

  • your order number
  • reason for the return

Customers are responsible for securely packaging returned items. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Returned to Sender Packages

If a package is returned to sender due to:

  • an incorrect or incomplete shipping address
  • failed delivery attempts
  • refusal by the recipient

we will issue a refund minus the original shipping charges once the package has been returned to us.

Customers may place a new order using the corrected shipping information.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval of your refund.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Please allow 5-10 business days for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
